Oxfam is estimating that the top 1 percent of the world’s population will own more than 50 percent of the world’s wealth by 2016.

Oxfam is an international confederation of 17 organizations working in approximately 94 countries worldwide to find solutions to poverty and what it considers injustice around the world.

But there is a sub category of the top 1% who are deemed to be classified as “ultra-high-net-worth”. These people are designated so because they have $30 million or more in investable assets.

I have not found stats on how much of the 50% they own.  I think this would be the real interesting information.
