Being a life long resident of Illinois, we are known for many things.  Right now it seems to be corrupt governors, Blago’s second trial is getting under way and George Ryan was in the news over the holiday’s for his illegal passes from jail to visit his dieing wife.

But Illinois it seems is the first state that had made it a felony to order checks for someone else with out their permission.  The obvious reason if for fraudulent purposed to rob innocent people of their money.  But apparently we did it first and it is a good thing.  I am not even going to question why we did it first…
