Kiplinger is pointing to what are considered robust job gains in February to show justification that the economy is getting stronger and that this should help put such thoughts to rest.

Last month brought the creation of 295,000 jobs; this apparently exceeded expectations and was the 12th month in a row with 200,000-plus gains, further fueling consumer and business confidence.

Now the U-6 unemployment rate is still at 11% for February.  This reports those under employed or who gave up.  This accompanied with the status of a number of clients small businesses and their employers.  I just don’t see the improvement myself.

There are prediction that the Federal Reserve to start with a quarter-point increase this summer, since the job recovery is so good…
