A client has recently urged me to read the “Little Red Book of Selling”.  So I acquired it.  When as I was reviewing the table of contents I saw a chapter on personal branding, so I jumped to chapter three and began reading.  To my surprise the information was very familiar.

A couple of months ago, I was having a conversation with a gentleman and he quoted and recited most of the ideas from the third chapter to me.  I was impressed with the ideas he was giving me, unaware of the source materials of our discussions. I guess I am impressed now with the ideas as well as his internalizing of the book.

I am finding some interesting information and ideas between the covers.  But I don’t think it is going to be as life changing as my client suggested.
