There is a new trend in commercials that has caught my wife’s attention. These commercials tell quick stories with the product being nearly invisible. But the quality of the story is enough to keep her attention and stop to watch them.

This is a unique idea, and will be very effective especially in the era of fast forwarding though commercials is a given nowadays.

But storytelling is the essence of most cultures, starting out with the oral traditions continuing today to movies, televisions and the internet.  We are always looking for the next good story.

A good story will always get people to stop and notice. Advertisers have finally found and old way to get people’s attention again.
