The Social Security wage base increases to $110,100 for 2012.  This is a $3,300 increase above the 2011 level and the first increase since 2009.  Obviously Congress thinks the is fixed now.

For the average employee the Social Security tax rate is currently at 4.2% hopefully it will be for the full year.  Employers still get no benefit from Congress so they still have to pay 6.2% for the employees.

The 1.45% Medicare rate on employees and employers hits all wages.

Those who are self-employed will pay 13.3% on the first $110,100 of net profits, congratulations, Congress does not like to benefit you for the risk you are taking.
