Prior to writing this blog post I checked to see how many attempts were made at hacking my website, the results follow.

3 failed login attempts (past 24 hrs). Your site is currently at a low risk for brute force activity

This is now, a couple of years ago the hackers were attempted brute force attacks and the attempts daily exceeding 100.  I asked an expert, and she fixed my setting to cut them off after a couple of attempts.

I run no part of my business through my website, beyond advertising.  So, getting control of it would be useless.  My hosting company would allow me to reset the passwords and reload the site from a back-up.

So, other than running my day, I fail to understand.  Why waste the computing power.

Though I am curious if it is Russian or Chinese hackers, unless I am thinking to boldly and it is a US hacker working to just to cause me harm.
