In the past Microsoft held Small Business Summit’s.  Granted a large portion were essentially commercials for Microsoft products.  But you could pick and chose what portions to view.

Initially they had very interesting presenters; I found them well worth my time.  I also watched some of the commercials to find out tips to better use the products I owned.

But alas, as Microsoft lost dominance in the market place, it seems to have lost interest in being a leader in education to small business owners.

It has been several years since I found a MS Summit and the last seemed to just be the commercials.

What is interesting is that no other company has chose to fill the void left by MS. Because at this time I think I could get more clients interested in watching webinars discussing the most current ways to market and appeal to clients.

I am a firm believer in continuing education on a number of topics for small business owners, especially when the content is good and especially when timely as well as free.
