The FCC had approved plans in 2016 to bar your internet service provider (ISP) from selling your collected online activities.  But Congress quickly voted to repeal these changes.

So your ISP is making money selling any and all information collected on you to the highest and lowest third parties bidders alike.

It is recommended that you review your ISP’s privacy policy.  You may still have some rights, assuming that they allow you to have a voice about your information.  Apparently Verizon has an opt out policy from them selling your information.

Where possible utilize sites that protect your identity, look for the small lock before the IP address and the https.

Also you may want to use search engines that do not collect your information such as duckduckgo.com vs Google.

Unless you don’t care, then just continue about your business.
