Do you use any of the preventive measures that are built into your smartphone to protect you from hackers?

Since they are built into the mobile devices they do not cost you any extra money.

First amongst them is the ability to use a PIN or fingerprint to lock the phone, a basic security measure.

The second option is the two-step authentication for e-mail services, shopping sites, social media apps, etc. This method uses a password plus a one-time code often texted to the user.

Finally there are the regular updates to mobile operating systems and apps that plug security holes.

Most people I know do not implement these measures, but I have a security code to access my phone and have for years.
