I have never done the ROI on solar panels. I probably should, I typically am that anal about wanting to know why people do what they do.
I bring this up because a neighbor across the street has 9 solar panels facing south on their roof. The house it tiny so they could not fit another on if they tried harder.
The costs had to be huge, I did not see this work being done. I noticed it after the fact. But the ROI has been bothering me.
What is the typically pay back period on these? I guess I need to do some research.
