I have been reading Carl Hiaasen’s fictional works for years. I enjoy the cynicism and the fact that there are no redeeming characteristic in any character; hero, heroine or villain.
For some reason I have never read any of his non-fiction works before. But with his new book coming out I ordered Team Rodent.
As a native Floridian I can easily see why someone could hate the Disney Corporation. And this book is nothing but the physical manifestation of his hatred.
This is a light work. Very light 83 pages. It covers Disney’s cover-ups, scandals and emphasizes the corporate greed. This would be shocking if I didn’t believe that this existed in every other Fortune 100 company.
The book is ok, this is definitely a minor effort on Hiaasen’s part, just venting on a hated company.
