Last tax season we picked up a new client. The client had moved a couple of miles to a new location.  In doing so, their prior CPA stated that they could not travel that far to continue to work with them.

Basically the client was fired from the prior CPA and not aware of it.

Now that we have been working with them for a year, we have an idea on why this occurred.  The goal of our business is to assist client’s businesses to achieve their goals. We are not so cavalier in dealings with our clients.

When we do let clients go it is for serious infractions such as: ignoring the IRS, not paying their payroll taxes, or repeatedly ignoring our advice and recommendations; or if it is truly the wrong fit for the client.

Our goals are to work towards being a part of the clients management team.  This is not a role we take lightly so we go out of our way to assist our client’s with their own special needs.
