Taxpayers are seemingly in the clear for the government’s own screw-ups.  The Internal Revenue Service decided that they will not try to collect additional taxes from those taxpayers who have already filed their taxes after receiving incorrect information from the federal health insurance marketplace, Healthcare.gov.

So those who relied on the forms they received from the government itself will not be hounded for the inaccuracies of the information on the forms.

The government sent out 800,000 incorrect 1095-A forms, or which approximately 50,000 filed their returns.  On the other hand, now that the corrected forms have been issued those 750,000 other filers should be using the corrected forms.

It seems that this whole ACA has been one terrible mess from the start.  Also, based upon the law the further changes that are still in need of being enacted will only further complicate thing.

So there is more fun in all of our futures.
