I recently went to the Sage Summit. It was suggested to me that heavy usage of the Summit app could garner prizes, fame and fortune.
When I went to download the app, it was demanding access to very and all aspects of my phone.
Why would an app for a three day event need access to all of my contacts? Or need access to my e-mails or any of the data on my phone?!?
So I did not download the app. Because of my overriding concerns to protect my phones data, I did not garner prizes, fame or fortune. But I believe I kept the integrity of my phones security intact.
