I was reading an article and in Pocket I found an article about what the 1% invest in their secrets should not be shared.
The items are somewhat amusing.
- Famous art – like I had a shot at owning the auctioned DaVinci
- Corporate America’s Landlord – buy property that major corporation’s rent. REIT’s have been around for awhile
- Build your own Private Equity Real Estate Empire- yep everyone can do this
- Invest in Fine Wine – for investment purposes or drinking purposes…
- Crypto
Most of these topics were basically ads on where to start investing into low level platforms that invest in these items.
As stated before the list is amusing, items 2 and 3 are basically the same thing, but each had a separate advertiser described.
I know nothing of the wine industry, and I don’t think many people are well versed in it either. But I am aware that there is an active market for buying, selling and drinking of investments. But I only invest in what I know and understand.
I just meet with a financial advisor that included Crypto in all of his client’s portfolios. I have clients who do, and I have astute investors who are readily avoiding it.
But I also think the 1% is investing in traditional assets as well. I have a few very wealthy clients and I know they have numerous traditional investment sources.
