There was a poll taken in July 1970, that had 30% of Americans declaring that Apollo 11 was a fake.

Apparently, the number got a bit worse when the movie Capricorn One was released, about a fake Mars landing.

I have yet to find out how the conspiracy theorists explain all of the people paid for the work done to get the Apollo missions into space.  What were they doing then?

In 2019 a Gallup poll taken on the 30th anniversary 10% of American’s still don’t believe that we went to the moon. This poll was of only 500 people.

In 2022 a TRESCA EU research project has 25% of European’s believing that the moon landing was a hoax.  Which is interesting, since the British Science Museum has the Apollo 10 command module on display.

The US spent a fortune on NASA throughout the years, I think the space program created many useful things that we use every day.  Suck as Velcro, microprocessor, water filters, cordless tools, crash helmets, satellite television, smoke detectors, the pen that writes upside down (Russians used pencils), shoe insoles, etc.

What do you believe?
