We two countries rely on each other for so many things that disentangling us would be too difficult.

that it can’t yet build for itself.

In America’s case:
Cheap consumer goods and industrial inputs that U.S. consumers and businesses
gobble up. Electronics. Lithium-ion batteries. Key minerals like rare earth elements.

Opportunities for new us businesses to take away from China – tariffs and shipping costs to help equalize costs.
