How much did you pay in credit card interest, last year? Was it in the hundreds or thousands?

I have recommended to clients “zero interest” credit cards for faster debt repayment.  These cards typically do not have balance transfer fees.

These cards typically have interest free terms of 18 months.  With the whole payment going to pay off principal.  If you keep up the same payment or more, you can deplete that principal greatly in those 18 months.

If after 18 months, you have still have a significant principal balance, you can start the process again, with a different card.
