Most true entrepreneurs will crash and burn several times before they find the correct course for themselves.
In fact, I feel that I cheated a bit, I slowly moved into my own business, it started as a side gig. Then, I had a worked as fractional CFO for a couple of businesses after I was forced into the world of entrepreneurship, after my W-2 job died out from under me.
Reading about Milton Hershey, he opened his first candy shop at age 19. It went under after 6 years. The first of several failures. But then his failures lead to a thriving company over 100 years later.
In retrospect I wish I had a fraction of Hershey’s vision for himself.
