I was reading an article in Fast Company, where they were discussing all the new ways to make food products, which will be produced worldwide.

We can’t get a third of the country to vaccinate, how are you going to get them to eat a 3D printed steak?

I am sure at some point, I will have to pay more for a steak that is cow based, than a fake steak created from some proteins or acids from a laboratory designed machine. Just like a hundred years ago when you had to choose gas with the lead additive or not, the gas without the additive was priced higher. Yes, I am old. I also know at some point it will cost more for insurance to touch a car steering wheel at some point in the future.

In Israel there is a facility can manufacture 5,000 cell-based hamburgers a day.  The Impossible burger is already here and is plant based. It only takes 16 to 26% of a daily allotment of sodium to get enough flavor to chock one down.

I understand that we have an ever-growing world population, (I read if Thanos [from the Avenger’s movie] existed and reduced the world population by 50% we would go back only to 1973). Food sustainability is an issue worldwide and getting worse.  Our seeds have all been genetically modified, I read that they are referred to as “Frankenstein seeds.

Food has changed from 100 years ago to today. Food will be different be different tomorrow.  It just seems odd that I am be going to a printer/replicator and getting my food, like the Original Star Trek series first envisioned it.
