Yes, I am a CPA with my own practice. I also have some related side hustles, as well as a list of those businesses that I would like to get into. Given the correct partner.
I have rental real estate, and a small e-commerce business. But there are a great number of side gigs that intrigue me, I have a list I review regularly.
One client has purchased a beauty parlor. He took over the lease and has kept the beauticians who rent the chairs/booths. That one sounds interesting
Another wanted to set up a business to do errands for the elderly in his building. Drop off’s pick-up shopping etc. Granted this was a couple of years ago. Some services now cover those needs.
I had a prospective client who owned a series of Sports Clips franchises, he was making serious money and wanted a lot of service basically for free. So, it did not work out with my taking him on, but the Sports Clips franchises.were investigated a bit. They were significantly cheaper than Supercuts, awhile back. I have not reviewed since. Would have needed a partner.
Another was starting up an FFL, he was going to set up business to train and issue Illinois Conceal and Carry licenses. The gentleman I use has minimal hours and runs it out of his house, though no licenses, just gun transfers. He close and significantly cheaper than Maxons.
I have another who started a roofing business and in the off season is going to start day trading.
There are people out there working on their dreams or working on building their Net Worth. It also helps to have more than one income source.
