It has been awhile since I reported on the unemployment rate.

Things were perceived as better, or at least not really that bad.  We are now in the “bad” category in my mind.  The economy is waffling, mostly because the President keeps going back and forth on tariffs.

The real unemployment rate is 7.8%. This is the U-6 Total unemployed, plus all people marginally attached to the labor force, plus total employed part time for economic reasons, as a percent of the civilian labor force plus all people marginally attached to the labor force.

While the official rate is a mere 4.2%.

With the “ghost” jobs and the other bullshit showing up as jobs available.  I think we are heading towards a wave of pain.
