I have been harping that everyone should have a side business to supplement their income and savings.

The pandemic helped drive that point home with a vengeance.  How many people all of a sudden became unemployed?  Granted this time there was more assistance with the $600 a week supplement.

But wouldn’t it have been even better to have that side money coming in as well? Yes, even in the pandemic people spent money on stuff.  I have a e-commerce business that kept money coming in despite the shutdown.

As people cleaned out their closets, most donated the goods, but some put them on Etsy, Craigslist or eBay and made some money. This could easily be considered a side gig.

What did you do?  Sit and watch Netflix or make some money?
